Salomon X-Ultra Forces MID GTX
The Salomon X-Ultra Forces MID GTX is a very light shoe that is suitable for everyday work, activities and circumstances. The shoe is equipped with the Salomon XA Pro 3D technology and is extremely durable due to the materials used.
Equally at home on low-vis operations and high-tempo assaults this boot combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability of a light hiker. Equipped with an Advanced Chassis providing lateral support and anti-puncture underfoot the boot is protective yet does not compromise freedom of movement.
The upper material needs to be robust and very flexible. To meet these requirements, a non-reflective material mix of anti-debris mesh, PU coate leather and single-layer mesh has been selected. The underlying GORE-TEX® membrane makes the boot an ideal companion in all kinds of weather. The SensiFitTM system cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a secure, precise and almost customized fit. The inside of the boot is reinforced with an additional material to support climbing and fast rappelling.
The performance and stability of the sole construction play a crucial role in the field. In combination, the Contagrip® Chevron Lugs outsole and Advanced Chassis™ provide an optimum response to all requirements. An OrthoLite® inlay sole ensures a comfortable fit and additional damping in the boot, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.
