TAGS Master Rappelling Abseil Gloves
The TAGS Master Rappelling Abseil Gloves are high quality gloves for tactical climbing operations. Medium weight belay/rappel gloves offer extra protection without sacrificing dexterity.
Double-layered leather and padding protect the palm and key areas from heat generated during long rappels or lowers. Fingertips and other high-wear areas are reinforced for increased durability but easy weapon handling is still maintained.
The back is made of leather areas with an abrasion resistant, stretch nylon at key flex areas and DuPont Kevlar inner lining. The low profile neoprene cuff, with two layer leather protection area and a Velcro closure, features a reinforced carabiner hole for attaching the gloves to your harness.
Glove intended to protect the user from the mechanical hazards of abrasion, cuts caused by sharp edges, tears and perforation. Result is a total protective tactical glove, completely ergonomic, light & washable.
FEATURES
- Palm - Cowhide leather palm with abrasion treatment.
- Back - Polyamide knit. Partially reinforced: cowhide leather with abrasion treatment.
- Cuff - Easy-entry neoprene cuff (elastane) with a secure velcro wrist closure, extra leather reinforcement for wear and tear on inside area of the wrist. Karabiner attachment eye.
- Lining - Para-aramide (100%): Dupont Kevlar.
PROTECTION LEVELS
The glove provides hazard protection pursuant to the technical requirements stipulated by the standard EN 420/03+A1/09 and EN 388/03:2003.
It provides the levels of protection specified below for each type of aggression or test:
- Abrasion Resistance (EN 388/section 6.1) level 3
- Cutting Resistance (EN 388/section 6.2) level 3
- Tearing Strenght (EN 388/section 6.3) level 3
- Perforation Resistance (EN 388/section 6.4) level 4
